Good singing:
....is fundamentally about “learning to get out of your own way”. We’ve all developed vocal habits which can become roadblocks, especially when the pressure is on to perform. Many singers have misconceptions about what will lead them to their own true, beautiful and unique sound. The situation can be further complicated when undesirable tensions are present. As a singing coach and classical performer on many stages of the world, I have a wide range of experiences to draw upon to help guide your vocal discovery.
Working with your choice of repertoire:
Singing lessons focus on whatever is required from the basics of breathing and posture, right through to the fine art of interpretation. Release of unwanted tensions is an important component of each voice lesson. My teaching style is remarkably uncomplicated so with practice, students often see results within a few weeks of study.
For the last 9 years I have been accepting voice students. I provide singing training in my Yonge & Eglinton area studio for students at all levels.
Whether you’re just starting out and want to see what you’re capable of or wish to improve your vocal technique, my lessons will be fun and informative and guide you to sing with your whole voice.
